Cooler Master Intel Core i7 LGA 1366 Socket Retention Bracket

Cooler Master has announced their Intel Core i7 LGA 1366 socket retention bracket.  The LGA 1366 socket retention bracket will be compatible with their V8, Hyper Z600 series, Hyper N520, Hyper 212 and Geminii S coolers. For some of these models, the retention bracket will eventually be included in the retail pack - allowing them to support all current sockets on the market: Intel LGA 775, LGA 1366 and AMD Socket 940/AM2/AM2+ compatible.

The backplate is conveniently designed so that it installs on top of Intel’s stock LGA1366 backplate, hence reducing the risk of damaging the socket during installation on X58 chipset motherboards.
