what do hertz do?
mine is currently a 19" LCD set at 1280x1024 resolution @ 60hz....

eg 60hz means your moititors picture is refreshed @ 60 times per second

I'm still running the 17" IBM E74 CRT that came with my original system(P3-667) from when I got back into computers back in early 2000. I'm thinking 19" LCD soon but it's hard to spend the money when this is still doing such a good job.

1600x1200 @ 85Hz on the $130 Sony G400 Trinitron that I picked up on OCAU about a month ago....

Its hot like buttah!

At home: 1600 x 1200 @ 100Hz on a pristine 21" DELL P1130 CRT (Sony G520 FD Trinitron tube).

When Lan'ing: 1280 x 1024 @ 75Hz on a BenQ FP767-12 cause carrying a 21" CRT sucks heh.
