It's on my laptop. A 4 year old dell beauty that I only use because it has a great screen and great keyboard. Silly p3 1ghz and 256meg ram sucks

I got a 17" CRT Trinitron for $100, off OCAU a while back, voted 1280x1024 but its actually 1280x900 or something, gets 85Hz refresh rate.

eva you have missed the 'cough' default 19" res 1280 x 960 @ 85Hz which is what I use with my Diamondtron Plus 93sb

For desktop I use 1024x768, otherwise it is too hard to read (and it doesn't seem to affect clarity of letters, etc). Gaming I use the native res of 1280x1024
