nice... i'm still looking for a 600+ FSB C2D board shame they're still charging so much for them (P5E3 Premium/Rampage Extreme) heh

Hasn't 600FSB been achieved on the UT P35?

I love this board

I swapped out the E8500 and replaced with E8600 to prepare for some -100c cascade action. It handles high fsb better than the E8500

Booted up at 625fsb with 1.65 vnb and used setfsb to work up to a validation at 640fsb! Miles better than anything i've done previously.

Note CPUZ misreports the divider in this case. It is 5:8 divider, not 3:5 so correct ram speed is 1024mhz not 1067.

Next step is to work out why the heck superpi fails when all other benchmarks including memtest, prime and 3d06 cpu test passes at conservative settings. clocks skews, command skews, cpu skews etc... hehe i don't have the patience to test the way George does... It might be a software issue, but Im lazy i might leave pi for an i7

nice congrats on 640FSB! Could be the skews on cpu/nb and dram not being optimal ??? I use memtest86+ v2.11 and specifically test #5, #6 and #7 for FSB/MEM tetsing now on Rampage Extreme, but still can't get past 950mhz for memory yet heh.

Thanks mate

Yeah it's a strange problem. Even 1m is flaky giving memory access violation rather than the usual not exact in round. I think you are right it has to be skews. The problems is which one? and then which combination of them? Need an oscilloscope for this hehe... It's no biggie, everything else runs fine. The main things I want to focus on, 3D01, 03 and Aquamark run without problems.. Thank goodness
