These can be had in the Sponsor Sale section of OCAu for $155 for the Ballistix and $160 for the Tracer. BARGAIN!

Not a bad price, I paid $AUD135 including shipping and currency conversion. AUS reseller would be better for warranty.

Re: 4x2GB Crucial Ballistix is nice!

Hmm Im jealous guys. It seems I cannot get my 2x2GB ballistix to run at any other divider than 1:1. Would this be due to the crappy broken divider problem with x38 boards?

I'm running a P5E and I cannot get 1066 stable no matter what. FSB is at 445 and in the ram speed options I get 890 and 1069. However I haven't been able to get 1069 going. I tried loosening up the tref value with no joy.

I'm actually picking up a P5E tomorrow... I'll let you know how it goes with my sticks. I'm hoping to use the 3:4 divider.

You da man Antari! Keen to see your results mate. Also if you want ant tips or tricks on the P5E, Necron and myself will be glad to help out. Necron will probably be of more help than myself.

EDIT: I've also just accidentally fallen on to a Corsair Dominator 2x2GB PC8500 kit, thinking that this Ballistix kit is crap. I'll see how these go as well and keep the better kit out of the 2.

EDIT2: Or maybe keep both kits lol

which divider ? 4:5 on x38 isn't that good compared to say 2:3 or 5:6
