[Team.AU] 9650 + 2900XT subzero testing
yes i know i havnt benched for too long, this next few months will be an onslaught from me, catching up with everyone that is benching penryn,
Test setup:
I had planned to do crossfire benches but this stupid motherboard wasnt playing nice so results are all single card. Had some fun today, I couldnt reach the same cpu speeds I could in testing. I was expecting to run 3d at 5.45ghz but seemed to be more like 5.35ghz for mosts tests, which is okay aswell. Aquamark, testing my better card of the two, was able to get a nice run off at 1180~mhz core, another run here with high LOD able to push the core to 1199mhz =] ![]() ![]() I also tested 05, but whats holding me up here is definatly CPU, we all know how cpu bound 05 is especially with the 2900s so 5.5ghz would of been more like 31500marks, thats for my e8500 =] Futuremark Submission I also thought it was worth running 06, these cards are crap at 06 single card, managed to only place 3rd on hwbot for 2900XT single card. This is greatly due to the limitation of my quad, runs max about 5190mhz for 3d06 cpu test on cascade. ![]() This one was good, 3d01 2900XT single card world record. This is my other card, unfortunaly in moving to adelaide my pot face got a bit scratched and my temps wernt great on this card, hence the 1090mhz core and not over 1100mhz. I'll have to relap this one for crossfire sessions. ![]() ![]() ![]() Was an enjoyable session but not being able to run crossfire sucked, but that'll come another time soon! |
