Going by my experience on those boards i have had 2 ..there good but no bells and whistles come with the board..also i think they have to change the packaging box from Black to blue to match the amount of blue screens u get with the cheapie boards..

Yup all cheapie boards from now on should be in Navy Blue boxes with small white writing
but there still better option than the older Gigabyte boards where one had to wirewrap a cpu pins to enable a saved setting of a overclock once one unplugged the Power cord or just to be able to restart it !!!!!!!
Don't forget Hori, the P5K-E is responsible for quite a few WR. Well they were, not sure on the current stats. My P5K-E was fantastic, like you say, no bells and whistles but a very solid board (after I RMA'd my first dodgy one that is).

Thanks

When I picked it up I was kind of nervous, because I'd seen yours and seen a few ES results that were dodgy (seemed not much better than really good Q6600 G0 results), so after the long drive home and sticking it in I was greeted by a really loud squeal and I thought I'd broken something turns out I'd forgotten to plug in the PCIe power Once I got it going I was fairly happy though.

As it stands I'm still yet to pump >1.4V into this chip. After all I did pay >$1200 for it, I don't want to break it!

Hehehe I've never used anything stronger than aircooling mate. lol I'm still finding my 24/7 clock though, I think it will be in the 4.0GHz-4.2GHz range.

It's on the website but it's not the latest "stable" release.
