My Abit IP35 Pro + Q6600 B3 adventures

Hey guys,

recently decided to get a new setup. Consists of the following

Abit IP35 Pro
Q6600 B3 (FPO/BATCH # L647G373)
Scythe Infinity + Noctua NF-S12 800 fan
2x1gb G.Skill HZ PC6400
Point Of View 8800gts 320MB + Thermalright HR-o3 Plus
Corsair HX620 PSU
Antec Solo

I havent yet begun testing as i am going to wait for my new cooler to arrive (Thermalright 120 ultra extreme)

I'll keep everything updated in here!

In regards with the mobo, was it a good choice? or would a Asus P5K-E been the better alternative?

From what I have seen, they are good boards with excellent voltage options. Each of the two boards you mentioned above have their minor individual drawbacks, but theres certainly nothing too major to worry about with the IP35 Pro (besides the typical Abit slow bios turnaround times)
