Re: Patriot PDC22G9600ELK

Looks like i got a dud set of ram(patriot 9600). They only do 585mhz 2.3-2.5v 5-5-5-15. Unless this motherboard is a lemon.

I get a kit of Ballistix tracer 8500's arriving tomorrow, if i get the same problem then i will put it down to the board.

But if the tracers work fine i will have to RMA the expensive patriots.

Re: Patriot PDC22G9600ELK

Ok i have found my ram problem i think. I updated the bios to F5 and i used 1066 strap instead of the 800 strap. I didn't realize there were 2 of the same ratios with strap 1066 and 800. so i am priming right now stressing the ram at %80. I am using vista 64bit version of prime95.

Testing at:
610mhz
5-5-5-15
2.3v

here is a pic

Re: Patriot PDC22G9600ELK

I got mine to run at 660MHz stock volts superPI 1M 5-5-5-15

All you have to do is raise your FSB strap from 800 to 1066.

Hi to everyone, I have this problem, I used the spd tool on my Patriot PDC22G9600ELK and I lost my backups of the original spd, so right now only one stick works and the another dont boot, so if someone want put the original spd file for this ram for me, I will aprecciate very much.
Thanks and regards
