Re: Q6600 'G0' SLACR L725A903 + Asus Blitz Extreme 0804

good work Eva ...

you say you changed the comand rate 1x to 2x or wich ever way it was the commando you only seem to have 2x you cant change it...would commando change automaticly to 1x if in need or its always stuck on 2x

also does the 1x and 2x selection make faster times on benchmarks like the Amd64 boards once did

was that bootable into windows at that fsb or clockgend up ? My max bootable is 475 fsb then clockgend the few extra..

wow so lucky to get such high FSB

you reckon it would be prime stable too

Thanks.. i think with more voltage and cooler cpu i could achieve 500FSB ... looks good for single stage phase though

commando only has 2T selectable AFAIK.

For P35 chipset 1T helps but debate is going as to whether it's really 1T performance but more like 1.5T - in between 2T and 1T .. so 1T > 1.5T > 2T as the boost at 1T is only like less than 100MB/s bandwidth in memtest86+ .. but most noticeable is the reduction in everest/sandra memory latency not bandwidth at 1T on P35.

Yeah very lucky not to get stuck now below 480FSB as I have seen on some Q6600 G0 SLACRs!

More tests to come

i dont get it, why are these q6600 g0's not doing 500+ fsb, i was lucky enough to have a qx6700 that does 500fsb on water..

Re: Q6600 'G0' SLACR L725A903 + Asus Blitz Extreme 0804

Might be a correlation between my E6850 x2 results.. the higher max FSB cpu overal clocked less than lower max FSB cpu. E6850 with 530FSB maxed 4104mhz at 1.632v while E6850 with 487FSB maxed 4266mhz at 1.632v for super pi 32M.

So maybe the lower max FSB is to ensure a higher average max overclock on the cpu ???

I see alot of the good E6850 that clock to 4-4.2ghz on air/water at low vcore nearly all wall around 500FSB. Maybe it's same for Q6600 G0s too.

Youngpro i think these Cpu's can go past 500fsb just our motherboards arnt letting us get there...Eva has done verry well to get this Asus Blitz board this high..
at the end of the day its still just another asus Board.

490+ is amazing and great work...

I think that it is also a combination and while the mobo may have an influence the memory is is quite a factor esp where it has to also support high FSBs.

It looks like you will hit 500 soon
