moloko that doesn't sound right about temps hmmmm

yeah i second that, a k-type probe inside the tube should read -78c even at load, other wise there is something wrong with the meter or probe.
At Dino's place day before the ABC shoot, myself SLI_dog and dino checked our meters. My 2 read perfect most of the time, sometimes 2c out, but dinos was all over the place, one stage it read -100c

I would recommend strapping the temp probe to the base of the tube at the end cap, then have it leaving the bottom of the tube out the side. That way ya reading the base temps.

Re: QX6700 + Asus P5K Deluxe + DICE

i think we broke the W.R. on DICE at my place

-156C it read at one point

i just bought a Fluke 52 with dual inputs
should be a tad more reliable so i can find out what the real temps are on my phase change cooler and my DICE pot

very nice choice of temp probe dino, if you need additional k-probes ya can get them from dic_ksmith electronics

Re: QX6700 + Asus P5K Deluxe + DICE

moloko sorry i forgot to mention,

yeah i use acetone, i didnt use much during my whole benching process, had to top the tube up once, only a little bit at the bottom and let the dice do the rest...

i think im going to grab one of those k-type units like kayl has from ****smith, the $30 multimetre/thermom wont cut it for ln2

Re: QX6700 + Asus P5K Deluxe + DICE

this is the 3dmark cpu run i was talking about,

some tweaking of memory timings and i went from mid 5500 to 6*** all of a sudden...

this was done at 4550mhz, 379 * 12, ram at 473mhz 4-4-4-4. subtimings 20-5-8-8-3-7-4 (5 being the performance option in the p35 chipset)
