Corsair DOMINATOR GT CMT8GX3M2B2133C9

Hey all, got a quick question.
just very recently i've picked up a set of this Corsair DomGT memory.

Link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233258

As far as i can tell the memory rocks, runs really fast and cool, for the price it has a fair amount of overclocking room to it.

But I was hopping to see if anyone know what kind of IC are in this ram. according to i4Memory DDR3 Corsair ver list (they are 4.13) they are Samsung based.

1.5v stock, 1.65~1.7/1.75 i can get it 2400MHz at the same timing showing above, and for 1.8 to boot and 1.9v to stably run SPI32m

Thanks for the help

Samsung ICs respond well to voltage, if your IMC is up to it, they can probably be pushed to DDR3-2666+. Good 24/7 volts/timings are 2400 10-12-12-28-1T@1.65v.

Thanks a lot mate
Since I don't have any LN2 atm, no way of finding out how much they can really push

I was really hopping to see any took them a part, and finding out what IC they really are.

No need really, since Corsair uses the version numbers to denote IC types. 100% guaranteed Samsung K4B2G0846D (the Samsung speed bin is pretty irrelevant).

You could have saved a lot of $$ and gone with this kit (same ICs): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820313234

I see thank you so much for the help!

currently those are the best I have on hand, hopping to see if I can put my hands on some of the more overclockable ones
