Asus Maximus V Gene and i7-3770K

Felt good unpacking new toys after a few months of not doing it...

BIOS'es: M5G0074, M5G0075, M5G0078, M5G0086, M5G0880, M5G0881, M5G0904

Special BIOS: M5G.CAP

so I decided to go cold on the cpu and mems on a brand new board last night and for some reason no matter what multi I set I only get 35X max, pretty :banana::banana::banana:ty as I have never experienced this on the other MVG, thoughts?

I have tried a number of different bios' , 0903, 0904, 0086, and 0881 I believe all with the same result, everything is drying so no idea if it is still doing this on air, no problems before the cold. . .
ME corruption

1. Acquire a USB Thumb Drive
2. Format the USB drive with a FAT32 file system
3. Download this M5G.CAP for your motherboard and place the file on the USB drive
4. Place the USB drive into the ROG Connect white USB Port
5. Hold the Rog connect button down for 5 seconds and an amber light near the BIOS chips will flash for some time and when flashing has stopped the BIOS has been successfully updated..
6. verify ratio works
7. can normally flash to bios of choice

ADATA 2400 9-11-9-27. Here is some testing, but you've seen it.

Where did you get that 3770k?! What are you using to cool it and did you remove the IHS and re-apply the TIM? Those are amazing voltages and temps! Congratulations, you got yourself a winning chip sir!

Well, my results aren't as impressive but I thought I'd share them nonetheless.

Maximus V Gene + i5 3570k + ADATA XPG 2.0 PC3-16000 C9

I was getting frustrated with poor overclocking/possible degradation of my X79 setups, so I grabbed this mobo+cpu combo at a local PC store for almost half the price of a 3930k. I'd say it was money well spent just to be able to do DDR3-2666. This didn't take much work at all.

Super Pi 32M

4x Hyper Pi 32M

AIDA64 Bandwidth

Note that I'm just getting started with Ivy Bridge so maybe those with more experience on the platform can guide me as to reasonable OC expectations, voltage tweaks, etc. Thanks!
