Re: Core 2 Duo <4000Mhz, 32M benchmarks

I'll have to give this a crack once i setup my peltier and see if i can get some 4ghz stable goodness from my e6700.

What sort of material should i use around the cpu socket?

Last time i installed it i thought the heat on the CPU side would be enough to remove any chance of condensation but on the outer edges i saw that it was still dripping onto the motherboard........ very lucky it is still working

ahhh i'll finally be able to give this one a crack with an E6700 coming in soon (fingers crossed it clocks well)

failing that i'll push my E6600 on the P5K mobo with higher memory frequency

you reckon it will be able to bench 4GHz 32M

that would be pretty good IMO if you can pull that off

Well I did some tests last night and found at max Vcore on BFG 680i mobo which is 1.80v (& still on air cooling) it droops to 1.76v. If it did'nt droop then yeah, I reckon 32Mb superpi will be done.
