Patriot PC2-7200 2GB kit Questions

I have a mate at a PC shop with a new 2GB Patriot PC2-7200 kit for $349. It seems that 900MHz RAM is discontinued. Would this RAM at this price be worthwhile grabbing? I know it has been tested on 955 chipset and through research PC2-7200 RAM runs on most P5B mobo's which are 965. I imagine my X975XBX would run it?

Here's a linky to the RAM;

I currently have a 2GB A-DATA DDR2 800 kit but it only runs at cas5 and I was hoping for 4-4-4-12 even though it runs under stock at 360MHz (I sold my G.Skill HZ kit for these). I wonder if the Patriot's would do cas4 with tighter sub timings?

Sadly, the DDR2 RAM List that details brands and their respective IC's used doesn't have the Patriot PC2-7200 kit listed so I can't confirm IC make - would I be correct in assuming that they are Micron D9 based?

Basically for the price, is this kit a bargain and should a grab it?

For that price i'd get something more known like Gskill PC6400 HK 4-4-3-5 promos ic based but handles cas4 easy up to 480-500mhz it seems

HK $315 http://www.extremepc.com.au/product_...roducts_id=738

Thanks eva, I won't buy the RAM. Being discontinued, I was hoping it was a rare opportunity to get some highly sort after RAM with hand picked Micron D9 IC's.
