Talking 8800 series refresh

Seems 8800 Ultra will be overclocked version of current 8800GTX to compete with R600 and expected to be released on the same day will be midrange 8xxx series

Re: 8800 series refresh

So will this card push down prices on the GTX or just take the next pricepoint above it?

Re: 8800 series refresh

I'd hate to think there's really a price point above $800-1000 skootyloops

With any luck they'll push the GTX's and the GTS's down in price.

I still reckon 640mb GTS is where its at right now.
Should be under $500 soon

Re: 8800 series refresh

The 640MB models will be hard to get soon so that could keep the price high
