Re: G.Skill DDR2 Prices have just dropped overnight!

Great News!

It looks like the Micron price cutting came in a little quicker than expected.

Good on you Graham for making a quick adjustment to Extreme PC's price lists too. Many other companies are still lagging behind in adjusting their prices.

But didn't we just confirm they are D9?

I'm still interested in the TwinMOS TwiSTER Hynix IC's, but that online shop has not replied to my email about getting 2gb PC6800 kits in
no we didn't

they COULD be other ICs

have a look at his reply again

Re: G.Skill DDR2 Prices have just dropped overnight!

The 6400HZ kit i got 2 weeks ago came with D9GCT. I was very impressed with them as I got DDR2-1100, 5-4-4-8 ,4hrs orthos stable using 2.25v. I wish I could have done more testing/tweaking but it was a friends PC that I had built so didn't wan't to push to hard. Plus he was getting a bit impatient waiting

Anyway if anyone has bought some of this new price reduced PC2-8000 ZX can you confirm whether they still using D9GKX IC's? @ $485 for a 2GB kit it would be a steal.
