2GB PC6400 D9 KITS

Who still does PC6400 2GB kits using Micron D9 IC's? Are the G.Skill HZ kits still using D9 IC's? My cousin in Hamburg Germany is getting a new PC6400 2GB kit and all I stressed was to get a D9 kit.

Re: 2GB PC6400 D9 KITS

If he's in Germany GET CELLSHOCK RAM!!!!!!!!!!!!

From what others on i4memory in Eruope, the PC8000 Cas4 should be the same price if not cheaper than the HZ' are in Australia. They also supposedly use Micron D9GKX IC's which are the best IC's you can get ATM and better than the G.Skill HZs

See Jaffa's results here --> http://i4memory.com/showthread.php?t=3312

yes Gskill 6400PHU2 HZ should still have D9*** but they may be D9GCT etc not the original D9GMH... but as to diff it all depends on luck some D9GCT might clock better than D9GMH although D9GCT is rated lower than D9GMH

I just recently bought a set of G.Skill HZ's - serial 7041xxxx.... & can confirm they are D9GCT. Haven't tested yet but hope they still clock well.

Lower again in price of the Cellshock 8000C4, there's the 8000C5.. look like clock really well.. no prob do tight timings, if they are rated 5-5-5-15@1000, they are most designed for 4-4-4-x @ 1000mhz, C3 around 860-900mhz etc...
D9GMH...

wow it's hard to understand why there's a lack of supply when there's still so many manufacturers with Micron D9s heh
