Hmm, someone's gone over to the dark side I see you're sticking with Hyper, everyone else seems to think high clock loose latency memory is better for SB-E but I'd like to see what you can do with the good old Elpida sticks.

Hey guys! Sorry for my absence.

I was very busy, and at the same time very frustrated with Hypers on X79/SB-E.
People were telling that these don't mix, but I was skeptical... Well, I should have listened.

There were some high numbers, but it was unstable. Couldn't pass AIDA64 CPU ZLib benchmark, not to mention SuperPI32.
If used with Hypers' profile from the BIOS, results were just terrible. AIDA's CPU Photoworxx and CPU AES, which are very memory dependent gave half and the quarter of the speed.

Sooo... While I was in trouble, I was looking for one particular memory kit for some time... And one day I saw it with 50% discount. Of course, I bought two kits for the price of one.

As you can see in previous post, my effort with Hypers was futile. I was very disappointed. Very good results, so close to be stable, but pretty much impossible.

Thanks! Actually, it needs 1.44V for Prime and gaming stability, but it's still good.

I'm very satisfied with it. My wish was to run it at 5GHz 24/7. And it can do 5.2GHz above zero.

I'll try below zero in few days I hope...

Just a few results with no particular reason or order.
Those are done at 5.2GHz which is maximum speed for this CPU with water cooling.
