Man I really don't know what to say.. it's a shock to your entire way of life I can imagine. But I'm sure you will learn to adapt. Keeping a positive outlook for the future is always good

My dad lost several of his right hand's fingers partially to a law mower accident nearly 2yrs ago. Luckily, they were severed from the first joint so retained some form of grip in his surviving partial fingers. I tried to find the severed fingers in the back yard but what I found wasn't enough to be salvaged for reattachment

My dad was lucky in that when he was young he was forced to be able to use both left and right hands equally for everything - ambidexterous i guess.

Jammer my warranty has
just run out on the HSV too. I was looking at a twin turbo setup for it ,600hp at the wheels,

I had put the GTO on the backburner until the warranty ran out.
either comp stuff or car stuf. the car won the race

But things change, 8 days ago i was putting a new headlight into my old old Holden WB ute and the end result was my right hand being amputated and 60 staples and about 150 stitches and 8 days in hospital and a hand that is useless.

Just be careful out their people
A simple job can change your life forever
Holy crap dude!!! I'm sorry to hear that. Is it gonna be OK tho? No permanent damage I hope.

EDIT: Oh fvck!!! So the hand is gone????

I'm speechless mate. This is bloody tragic.

thanks Jammer.
Not sure on the damage\. I can't feel anything from half way down my fore arm to the top of the fingers.

all is numb and feels dead.
My hand is connected to my forearm again
The doc had to take a tendon from my leg and put it in my forearm.
he had to join all the tendons , veins, arteries, nerves, muscles in my arm. I got them all

No point doing things in halves Any thing i do , I like to do it properly. And i sure did my hand properly

oh so the hand is reattached! There's hope there then.. there's those medical stories of severed hands/legs that due to modern advances in medicine allow near full recovery !

So I'll say a pray for you mate..
