P6X58D-E RAM at 1600MHz 10 of 12GB

Hello,

First of all my hardware:
Asus P6X58D-E
i7 930 stock
12GB RAM (2x CMP6GX3M3A1600C7)
2 EVGA GTX460 in SLi

When I leave the memory running stock everything is fine. BIOS and Windows detect 12GB.
But when I run the memory at 1600MHz (what the memory is ment for to run?), BIOS and Windows only detect 10 of 12GB.

On Ai Tweaker ive changed RAM times to the following:
DRAM CAS# Latency =======> [9]
DRAM RAS# to CAS# Delay ==> [9]
DRAM RAS# PRE Time ======> [9]
DRAM RAS# ACT Time ======> [24]
DRAM Timing Mode =========> [2N]

Can someone please help me with getting the memory to run at 1600MHz with 12GB available?

Greetings

Try raising your QPI/DRAM Core voltage to 1.350v

Thank you, but this didn't work either.

In my startpost I said that everything is running fine on stock Frequency, but when I cold booted only 10GB was recognized.
This happens everytime I change the frequency.

Definitely need to find the right cpu vtt (QPI/DRAM) and vdimm memory voltage see http://i4memory.com/ramdetect/

for 12GB you may need more QPI/DRAM and vdimm that rated volts for 3x2GB, so maybe something like 1.4v QPI/DRAM and 1.70v vdimm

This won't kill my CPU?
The BIOS warns me with a "According to Intel CPU specs. Dimms with voltage settings over 1.65V may damage CPU permanently".
Is this just a warning or should I take this seriously?

Have read somewhere that i7 CPU's are safe up to1.70v VDIMM. Is this correct?

Will be fine as long as QPI/DRAM (CPU VTT) and VDIMM are within 0.5v of each other as per http://i4memory.com/f55/intel-core-i...ide-x58-13051/

sounds like memory controller on cpu isn't good enough, so only thing is to either downclock memory or try a different type of memory model/brand or try a different cpu
