what does windows task manager, memtest86+ DOS and cpu tweaker say ?

could be just normal windows pci-e device consumption as per point #7 at http://i4memory.com/ramdetect and http://i4memory.com/f78/info-windows...-memory-24976/

so looks like probably voltage/settings related

I never used that particular motherboard so not entirely sure but some suggestions

Asus intel cpu forum http://i4memory.com/f54/ has sticky threads with bios templates, pick one template closest to your bios format, and use that bios template format to post the settings you have tried as well.

as to voltages you don't want to leave them auto but set them to lowest manual option available to start with i.e.

CPU Differential Amplitude [Auto]
Extreme OV [Disabled]
CPU Voltage Control [Absolute VID]
CPU Voltage [1.20000]
CPU PLL Voltage [Auto]
QPI/Dram Core Voltage [Auto] <-- that is your cpu vtt voltage talked about at http://i4memory.com/ramdetect
IOH Voltage [Auto]
IOH PCIE Voltage [Auto]
ICH Voltage [Auto]
ICH PCIE Voltage [Auto]
so try playing with QPI/DRAM voltages between 1.25-1.4v to see if it helps as per outlined at http://i4memory.com/ramdetect/ as loosen timings to 9-9-9-24 2T first until you consistently get full amount of installed memory detected, then start tightening timings and adjusting voltages as per http://i4memory.com/f54/announcement...y-eva2000.html and http://i4memory.com/f55/intel-core-i...ide-x58-13051/ (both links also listed at http://i4memory.com/ramdetect

point #3 at http://i4memory.com/ramdetect refers to link at http://i4memory.com/f54/asus-p6t-del...20/#post120519

Setting some important voltage settings to AUTO instead of lowest manual available voltage option. See 2nd post here for suggestions.

If the 8pin CPU Power jack on your mobo is fully plugged. Plug off the left 4pin adapter.

It solved my only 8GB of 12GB memory recognizability.
