basically finished the tunning on the system now, Cascade did -98c at 312w and -101 with 270w.
time to put side covers on and get ready for a bench
cold bug switch on drops down to around -96c.

Excellent indeed mate! What does your little power consumption meter read there when loaded and up and running?

I checked the little unit you built me and under load after a few mins' it levels out at under 180Watts!

ill have to check to see what the power draw is next.

For the first hour cascade idles around -110c and load -106c after 4hrs it was -104c load and -106c idle with 5.5ghz 1.95vcore on my E8500.

And the bench results

-104c load at 1.95v! Very nice.. not too far away from LN2 temps

I'm interested to see what sort of power draw these use. I'd probably have to call the sparky

I'm going to grab an i7 EE, X58 etc and about that time I expect you'll be getting an order Kayl

oh kayl.. ya tempting me with a cascade build

with a E8600 you'd be swinging into 5.65-5.95ghz region for 3dmark easy

what's the news on nehalem socket/mount info ?
