Silverstone 750W reviewed 72A on 12V rails

Heh Quad VGA support: http://www.overclock3d.net/image.php?id=854

"With the +12v4 rail peaking at 22a, this should be enough to power the latest generation of ATI cards (x1900xtx) even when used in crossfire mode."

actually technically 72A on +12 is wrong... read psu specs total combined load over all 4x +12v rails = 720W /12v = 60amp combined load on all +12v rails not 72A

+12V RAIL DISTRIBUTION ON THE Silverstone 750Watts

Sent an email to Silverstone about their new 750Watt PSU, nice of them to reply....

-----------------------------------------------

Hi Sandeep, thank you very much for your interest in SilverStone. The ST75ZF has the following +12V distribution:

+12V1(18A) : CPU1
+12V2(18A) : CPU2+SATA
+12V3(18A) : MB+HDD
+12V4(18A) : VGA1+VGA2

So your dual core processor will have +12V1 and +12V2

The 7800GTX 512meg SLI cards will be drawing off of +12V4

The rest of case fans, lights, and water cooling will have +12V3

I can see why I was getting exactly the same voltage levels during my test. i.e 12.03V on both PCI-E. here http://i4memory.com/showthread.php?t=2686

hmm would of thought separate +12v rails for each PCI-E connectors which would be the ideal arrangement like the 700W OCZ GameXStream.

18A for both PCI-E isn't enough for X1900XTX/XT Crossfire or 7900GTX SLI
