also no matter wat i try i cant run the 4:5 divider to give me a higher memory clock... even with vdimm at 2.4-2.5v, any ideas?

it seems that these intels are in a way similar to AMD in that sense...........maxing both CPU and RAM can sometimes result in RAM not performing to full ability

it seems that there is a way to run 1066 strap on 965 chipset motherboards past 500MHz guys..................

high vMCH and cooling will do the trick.........The Stilt over at XS ran 511MHz FSB with 1066 strap

Re: [hwbot] Super Pi v1.50 32M rankings - i4memory.com

For NiSMo, on P5W DH try tRD = 7 for 4:5 mode re-read http://i4memory.com/showthread.php?t=3034 particularly http://i4memory.com/showpost.php?p=47177&postcount=5 raise vdimm as well as vMCH to say 1.75-1.85v if you have that option.

As to P5B DX, ArcTan no idea mate - maybe dinos can help

Re: [hwbot] Super Pi v1.50 32M rankings - i4memory.com

sounds like a vMCH limit to me.. higher vMCH helps higher fsb but also higher memory clocks on 975x chipset boards

Maybe do the P5W DH vMCH pencil mod (see sticky in Asus forum here)
