Nice result!

Don't worry about 100 GFLOPS. Lowest frequency to get 100 GFLOPS for me was 4560 MHz and IIRC it was the lowest MHz 100GFLOPS run of all in the Intel 4.5GHz & 5GHz LinX Stable Club.

Does anyone happen to know if the R3E supports X56xx series CPUs? What about some of the rare ones like X5677 or X5679?

I have a X5679 and I am getting a Bad Bios Checksum error. Then it just searches on the cd-rom and removable drives for something.
If you stick in a usb with file 'r3e.rom' it will find it and update the bios, but same thing keeps happening after restart. This happens with Bios 1208.

Any ideas?

Looks like the X5677 at least is supported: http://hwbot.org/submission/1052711_...677_6sec_427ms

Good find GenAn. I don't see why this CPU isn't supported. I think the one I have is dead. No wonder it's an obsolete model...

I wonder why my R3E doesn't like any of my Hyper memory aside from Dominator GT. I tried booting my Patriot Viper II and Super Talent Speed kits at 2000 7-7-7 or 8-8-8 and my board just laughed at me (and promptly rebooted). I may try an older BIOS and see if that helps...
