HI

HI, ok , I got this BIOS from the XS

BTW mounted up a new XEON W3520 3848A352 -looks like a real killer CPU-1st quick test :

BTW, which one is it, I mean BIOS? Is it possible I skipped one?

Nope, it s a 1004 - but in the meantime I ve tried the 1003 as well -both seem to be "oc friendly "- and no, I do not think its possible that you ve skipped a new R3E BIOS

you seem to be among the first ppl to catch them up

Yeah, it looks like I have some kind of radar for new BIOS'es. I can't help it, I like to try new stuff, don't think there's a cure for that.

Have you tried higher clocks? It would be great to hit 4.4-4.5GHz for 24/7. Might be possible.

Yeah, I will try , of course / there is no cure for that as well /
but for the time being I m just content with this .

I m glad that I found this chip at last: had i920 , W3540, i930 and two W3520
but this W3520 is definitely No 1
