test each module individually in memtest86+ v1.70 and see which module is the culprit as well..

Lucky to date I've never had a memory module die on me unless it was DOA when it arrived

OMG. I just bought it off a website 2 GB DDR2-800. What happens if it dies? Do i RMA it directly to crucial?

Usually 1yr RTB to retailer then after 1yr direct with crucial.

My brother inlaw bought sum a few months back..actually i think they was from Graham..he had huge troubles with his Crucial sticks Pc kept falling over and such stories like that..he got a refund no wories..i felt guilty as i sought of pushed him into buying them because i have had a awsum run wih my set..still kicking along strong.
so i suppose some people just get un lucky

Privately or through a registered business on Ebay?

If it was from a registered business, try and go through their warranty procedures, otherwise refer to Crucial's return policy & process and go directly through them.
