yellow slots suck badly with RAM......i don't think i'll have much luck

i don't think TCCD runs bad on Expert....not sure where you got that from as i run TCCD and they seem the same as they were/are with Ultra-D

these FFs have heatspreaders
Its well known that the eXpert is craphouse using TCCD, just have a look at most threads @ XS to confirm, thats one of the alledged reasons for the Venus board - better compat with TCCD but IMO thats just marketing BS as it could be fixed with just a bios change for the 'spert

i've had more luck with TCCD RAM rather than winbond on Expert.....really depends on the hardware i think

and yes i bet ya anything that Venus is just a clever bios upgrade/marketing attempt

well when i meant TCCD issues on expert i mean DFI NF4 would take same TCCD higher clocks than DFI Expert and more likely chance of 300+ mhz on DFI NF4 than Expert

try doing this on Expert with dual core

DFI NF4 UT SLI-DR with 9x306mhz 2.5-4-3-6

i thought you are talking about Gskill PC4800FF as they're meant to do 300mhz at least at 2.5-4-4-8 but Expert won't be able to take your there

FF sticks are faulty i think as i can't get them to do either 275MHz 2.5-3-3-6 1T or 300MHz 2.5-4-4-8 1T on UltraD or Expert
