as far as the board is concerned it handles gulf at high load EASY so power circuitry is not problem thats for sure, but if there is some issue with OCP it will need to be addressed.

I emailed Francois to see what he thinks....
hmm interesting.. maybe I should have jumped on an A0 nah if it died i'd cry..

Very interested in what Francois says about it, hopefully it's something that can be addressed at a board/bios level.

Managed to escape from baby duty for an hour tonight to do a bit of 2D benching

32M at 5900 no worries

Wow very nice ram clocks there BOB i want your ram hahaha , looks very promising chip you have there bob hit it with some volts and show us sub 6 min hahaha

I am working away from home so cant banch till weekend see what my gulfy does

Also did you have to do any mods to teh e760 classi like dino the VR 8k mod ?

Hi m8 - I have no doubt this CPU will see some decent volts soon - just dont want to kill it if I can help it. These A0 CPU's have a reputation

Not mods on the classi to get these results

btw test 7-7-7-21 as well as there will be very little difference in speed between 6-7-6 and 7-7-7

yeah will do thanks - should definitely be able to get a higher QPI but might need to drop the multi - the 5900 is right on the edge of max clocks with only 1.6V
