do you have the foam white hard foam inserts in your cpu head enclosure? or the black foam inserts??

hhmmm, with mine it sat at the C1 code for what felt like 2-3mins before booting. On the classi mine has a CB at -120c, but just bios boot issues on gigabtye. Ie if im colder than -120c it doesnt boot at all.
I have the hard foam inserts. They are compressing gradually as i was stupid and overtightened on a Phenom II system. Perhaps the black foam insert and enclosure has an advantage because it 'springs' back?

Interesting there 2-3min boot.. I never tried leaving it for that long. I crapped myself thinking the chip was dead.. Tried about a dozen times with battery out cmos clear, low temp boot, 1 stick of ram etc.. all no go. If the board has died I don't blame it.. it's been an absolute champ for 18 months.. very fast board. I'm not giving up, i'll try a 920 in it on air and see what happens.

not great so far.. mine wants more and more vcore. I'll know more once i put it under ln2 in the next week or 2 and see if the extra cold helps a lot. I think this chip will be lucky to hit 6ghz.
