Your right champ the 2 cards run at 16x and the three cards ran at 16x - 8x - 8x but you also have to remember the new cards are only 2 physical cards but add up to 4 gpus in total hence the higher scores than with three cards.
no I was talking about EVA's posted scores with 2X5870 and 3X5870 those are single gpu cards right?

^ i think that was more of drivers querks then pci-e bandwidth on eva's runs

i never did flash my 5870 card no need to bother sinch i can use ab for getting passed the 900 ccc limit yet to try thuo.
i got dice/mb ready for some tri fire runs if i have any dice left i may dress up the 5870 tommorrow

My bad lol yeh definitely drivers I think Evas mobo has 3 x x16 lanes, drivers still have a ways to go for crossfirex scaling in some benches or games.

Yeah i think my 3dmark05 and vantage are driver issues - once drivers improve 3x HD5870 CF should beat 2x

here some results i got over the last few hours

i7 920 +kayl pot/dice
kingston ddr3
gigabyte 5970 + xfx 5870

in 03 gt1 is gettng the best of me with these cards at these speeds i thuoght more would come from that.

Hi guys i managed to get a 5870 and my 4x sli classi board today only thing is i cant really afford the card if anyone in australia wants another 5870 im gonna do some quick benches on it then im gonna sell it im not going subzero on it just stock cooling so pm me if ya want it ..... i really wish i could afford it. i thought i offer you guys first or its hitting ebay .
