Yeah hard to say really, generally you're be able to it 900-950mhz GPU at least with some extra volts. I've seen alot more HD5850 do 1000mhz easy on water cooling though so it is cooling holding most of them back.

Broke nearly 9K with 1 x 5870, cpu @ 4.1Ghz in PCMarkVantage on 1156 platform and 1 x 7.2K HD for OS:

I've always liked the PCMark series, weaknesses in whole system OC show up easier than 3DMark series. PCMarkVantage is the best one yet imo.

Kind of embarrassing posting up with what you guys can do...

For a in case H20 guy tried the XFX 5870 XXX cards..You have to flash the Asus bios but i think XFX cherry picks there gpu's a bit more than Asus...Beat my Asus 5870's by 500 points and beat them in all the 3D benches

My PB, even better than 2 4870x2's....@ 4.550.... 2/XFX 5870 XXX



I think I hit a sweet spot with Vantage..This is 3000 higher than my other dual 5870's.

Great scores Lakeside WD mate, you've got those 5870s to some real decent clocks.

Getting close to that 30k mark with 1x 5850.

Yeah lakeside no need to be embarrassed as those results are excellent for the cpu cooling used.. rock on H20 cooling brother
