Thumbs up Conroe Coming SOON

Looks like intel have been putting in the hours on Conroe looking at this report from XbitLabs

I would say this is because its the only way to slow the massive swing to AMD desktops (intel fanboys would of course disagree )

2x2MB L2 cache and 65nm looks the go and should really get AMD moving

Imagine how good these will be once intel finally finish copying AMD with onboard mem controller in late '07 (thats how long its gunna take them )

the sad thing is - if this turns out to be better than AMDs - they will jack up the pricing to god knows what kind of extreme level...

Intel need to pull whatever it is that they have lodged up their ass...
