Okay, installed 2 x Corsair Dominator GT C7 6GB kits for 12 GB on a i7 920 D0 @ 4.2GHZ @ 1.375 VCore at 7,7,7,20,79,1T 2000MHZ

All good and 32M Prime stable. Today moved to 980X different game! would not run 12GB @ same timings tried different combinations of VTT and VCore, could not get 12GB to run @ 4.4GHZ VCore 1.35, 2000MHZ with loose timings ended up pulling out 6GB so 6GB only now runs at 7,7,7,79,1T 2000MHZ VDimm 1.67 @ 4.4GHZ.

Weirdness is Everest reports 20K read 18,5K write speeds, copy @ 19K, latenecy at 39.9NS much lower than previous speeds? and seems to be the same no matter what mem settings or speed I run?

Any suggestions, ideas, to get 12GB running at 2000MHZ with 980X.

Somethng is up with Everest and memory controller on 980X?

maybe uptime to everest latest version for 980x support http://i4memory.com/f79/everest-ulti...eleased-23175/

As per anandtech reviews, latencies of cache are a tad slower clock for clock on 980X compared to bloomfield core i7 9xx series. But yes could be differences in mem controller quality on 980X. Basically, you need to retest for optimal settings for your memory for a new cpu as it may not be same optimal settings as previous cpu used. Might help some http://i4memory.com/f55/intel-core-i...-ratios-23430/

Tried the new beta 2119 of Everest 5.50, no difference?? Super PI 1M is at 4.4GHZ, 09.282s 6 GB @ 7,7,7,20,1T, will try again today for 12GB stability, I am convinced that it is the memory controller that is the issue. Should I increase VTT, currently at 1.5V? or VCore @ 1.35V?
