Talking How to install Windows 7 from USB Flash Drive...

I've tried numerous Windows 7 install from USB flash drive guides online, and found this one here to be the best with less Win 7 installation troubles. Check out the Win7 USB install guide here http://www.maximumpc.com/article/how...beta_a_usb_key. You can also use RMPREPUSB (new tool replace HP Format Utility) to format your USB flash drive to be bootable for Win7 install.

It took me a total of just 14mins to install full Win7 Ultimate 64bit RTM 7600 Build on stock speed i7 920/Asus P6T6 WS Revolution systems using 8GB Patriot Xporter USB flash drive

Tips:
  1. Don't have an existing Vista/Win7 based system to do the disk partition and Win7 ISO file extraction ? Daemontools not supporting Win7 ISO ? No worries, download freeware CloneDrive virtual cd emulator which allows you to extract Windows 7 ISO files on a Windows XP system
  2. Full Win7 USB Flash drive preparation and install guide for folks using WinXP base system

Got your own Windows 7 install method ? Feel free to share by posting a new thread in Operating System forum

Great guide George
I simply followed the first part (making the usb drive bootable) then just copied and pasted all the files from my W7 disc onto usb drive.
Installing as i type
