Thanks eva and groovy for your observations, should make things a lot easier for a lot of ppl

Any findings in regard to new BH-5/Opteron peculiarities ??

I still have'nt got my 146 yet (I paid for insured post, paranoid now ) but I have finally, TODAY, FINALLY, after waiting 3 'kin weeks, FINALLY got my broadband connection back

whatcha mean
Na, the server just uses cpu cycles...so you could be missing out on 0.00x of a sec extra :P

meh, it isn't like some of elfy's screenshots where he had windows update downloading/running

Also, welcome back to the internet alpha0ne

looks like my Opteron still has some OC headroom...........my dividers don't seem to be working properly..........on 2.9GHz run 166 divider will fail 32M at numerous settings i tried.......HOWEVER it completes fine at 183 divider....bloody strange
lol

i just realised i did a faster time the other day on 166 divider.....it was a cold night tho heheh..........it is a bit strange the way this setup is acting with dividers.......i must say i was much happier with Abit in terms of that

8M SuperPI at 2956MHz....didn't really need all that vcore....i had it that high cause i was playing with higher speed 1M times

Thanks eva, looking forward to your as usual definitive findings

I was going to wait until my 146 arrived before installing my Apex kit (now modified, the rad [empty] with fans and self made aluminium shroud weighs 1.9Kilo ) but might do it today as it seems to be easy (is it ???) to changeover the CPU

with say max 264mhz 2-2-2-5 and 3017mhz cpu max with 340HTT max and 1100HT max and 9x cpu multiplier best combinations

HTT - CPU - Memory - Hypertransport - (lower is better)
335 9 x 335 = 3015 3:4, 150, DDR300 = 251.25 (DDR502) 3 x 335 = 1005 0.2376
