Guys what was the difference in mhz between

1. your max memtest bootable and error free few loops at STOCK vcore

vs

2. your max windows bootable and superpi 1-32M at STOCK vcore

for your Opteron ?

i've only tried 2.7GHz but it could be more......i know 2.8GHz was 1.44v but i will try lowering the vcore for 32M run....i think it should be fine......

why is this info important...........

well just give it 300MHz HTT and see what happens.......use clockgen after that to save you trouble booting

you are on good water...i think (provided chip is OK) you should do 2.8GHz with 1.4V...........seing how well groove's one scales with voltage and entry level cooling i think we are in for a treat here
