ATI boards clock for clock give higher memory bandwidth and around 5mhz higher mem clocks than DFI from what i read and seen in reviews so it's pretty good I reckon especially with nice 4.0v vdimm max too

Pity that the mem bandwidth is the only thing going for it.. The SB 450 is an absolutely atrocious chipset.

Absolutely terrible USB and SATA perfomance, no on-chip network (the network is provided by a marvell chip on the motherboard) and a few other things I can't think of right now. Basically anything that runs off the PCI bus is going to be slwower than the spec they say it is following is supposed to be.

Unless that is all driver related, but somehow I have my doubts.
