3000+ E6 0533fpaw + Dfi Nf4 Sli-dr

got my watercooling up and running last week.. am now in the process of testing and testing some more...

Here's the initial results.

Lots more to come, as my corsair 3500 BH-5 was only running 225MHz 2-2-2-5 for that run...

will put it up to 250MHz 2-2-2-5 and see if i cant shave a few more seconds off that

Must say that I am infinately pleased with this DFI board. Previous to this I had a DFI NF3 Ultra-D, and this CPU couldnt get past 2410MHz even at 1.68v ... However, DFI have SERIOUSLY come through with the goods on the NF4 Series boards. (not that you all didnt know that already... )

Alex..

RAM now @ 245MHz 2-2-2-5

1 sec improvement. Not bad... RAM should still go a fair bit further, not to mention that i still have .8v to play with (only running 3.2v atm.)

testing the whole lot...

The system is probably 1 week old now.. maybe 2... so i still dont know what "max clocks" are..

The ram i've had for a fair while now, and its good for around the 260MHz mark @ 2-2-2-5 but i've never gone above 3.3v because i've never had a board that could.

The problem is that in my SLI-DR's bios, i cant find the 1T/2T option... so its running 245MHz 2-2-2-5 1T with 2x512mb sticks...

we'll have to see how we go i guess.. but i can smell that the cpu has more in it...

Alex.

Im suprised you need 1.66v for 2.7ghz on water?!?!

I had the exact same chip and it did 2.7ghz 1.552v, 2.61ghz 1.52v, all on air

with the last screenshot, you'll notice its @ 1.58v...

However at less than 1.62v it will pass 1m, but fail 32m instantly... dont know why...

Im not worried, 1.6v is acceptable with water. so it'll do...
