Question Memory upgrade

Could anyone tell me what the best ram for my system. I was contemplating on getting the ocz PC4000 vx but people have been telling me that its **** on an intel system. Ill be upgrading so that i can get the max oc for my system. Please help!

While i'm doing that, care to tell us what you use your PC for, and what speed overclock you're aiming for?

yeah I wouldn't consider any winbond UTT based ram. I'd go for some samsung TCCD/TCC5 based ram

You'd need >3.2v vdimm to take advantage of OCZ PC4000 GoldVX so would need an OCZ DDR Booster and chipset on P4C800-E will limit you to around 240-255mhz 2-2-2-6 -/+ 5mhz at between 3.2-3.5v vdimm

Well im using it mainly for multimedia development and gaming. I want to achieve an oc of about 260fsb or more. Thanks
