Lightbulb Best Tool to Cut Fan Holes Etc

Here is a piccy of the WISS M6 snips, used for cutting straight or circles anti clockwise, you can also buy the M5 that comes with green handle grips and cuts a hole clockwise

Having both is great but a bit expensive at ~ $50 each but you can get away with just using one

All you need to do to cut a perfect hole is mark it out first, then drill 3 or 4 holes close together using your biggest drill bit, open up all the holes to make one big hole large enouth to fit the bottom jaw, then start cutting, it takes no more than 2 mins - serious

Oh and you can buy them from all good hardware stores

Having a Dremel and a decent Jigsaw at my disposal is all the cutting tools I really need. Holesaws are nice but i've had to learn to make a decent cut manually

To be honest, dremels for any major work are a real pain in the ass. So are nibblers and any other manual tool for that matter. However if that's all you have at your disposal then it's better than nothing.

love a hole saw, but preparation is everything, mark out, prepare the surface, masking tape is a dream, nice clean holes.

that said i have everything (loves dad's workshop/panel shop in the backyard) at my disposal except a dremmel.
