Talking Asus P6T, i7 920, Win7x64 Detecting 6GB instead of 9GB

Hi,

I've just got some new memory 3x2GB (Corsair CMX6GX3M3A 1600C9) which I added to my 3x1GB (Corsair CM3X1G1600C9).

I've got all settings in the BIOS on auto but only 6GB is detected by windows, although CPUZ finds all 9GB.

I've read a lot of posts here about changing voltages etc, but I'm pretty new at this overclocking stuff, so i just wanted a pointer in the right direction. Is there somewhere that has an introductory guide on what all the values are and how to tweak them. And what base settings i should start out with given my setup?

Any help would be appreciated, I really just want to get my memory detected.
Thanks!

Tried reading suggestions at http://i4memory.com/f54/asus-x58-6-1...stalled-19200/ ? Even simple act of remounting cpu cooler could allow proper detection of all memory modules.

Thanks for the reply,

What should I be careful of when re-mounting the cooler? Since I did it the first time I don't want to make the same mistake again. Do you know of any good guides for mounting it showing the proper technique?
