I'm using BIOS 701 now and this issue is solved. At boot time the BIOS recognize that the detected memory is wrong and so it will automatically shutdown the PC and then power up again after a couple of seconds. It does what we had to do manually to have the whole RAM.
Six months ago I bought 4x 8GByte GSKILL modules (F3-1600C9D-16GAR total 32 GBytes) and the problem definitively disappared. All ok. No more double boot. Also I can set a higher clock (1600 using XMP Profile) due to a lower number of modules (4 instead of 6).

Sorry for bumping this old thread but I thought that if anyone still has this old board and also needs more RAM then this could be a solution.
