Unheralded Larrabee plots AMD and Nvidia takedown

"shadowy organization called Larrabee Development Group has set a most ambitious goal: unseating AMD/ATI and Nvidia as the largest producers of high-end graphics chips. And it might just succeed.

It may seem unfathomable for an unknown such as Larrabee to knock off two of the most powerful processor companies. That is until you realize that Larrabee is little more than a weak disguise for Intel. The chip giant has, in fact, ramped up its graphics efforts in recent weeks to create a product code-named Larrabee theoretically capable of besting AMD and Nvidia's best kit.

Re: Unheralded Larrabee plots AMD and Nvidia takedown

for what i have understand, Nividia don't want be buy.. hmm Nvidia or action owners.... ( I have not the info Intel want integrate them... so.. i ask me who say true..)
..
But yes... Intel own allready the market of integrate processor dedicated more for desktop or specific enterprise need

It' s logical they will try/do that... i ask me if AMD have not anticipate this finally and buying ATI, for counter Intel..... and Intel have think do this since long time.. open their market to 3D high end GPU's.. ( GPPPU or integrate...).. it can be intersting to see when info/press come to use.. and when strategy is really made..

Just stick a 3.5Ghz Conroe on a PCI-Ex connector PCB, add 1GB of DDR4 at 1600Mhz (3200Mhz DDR and watch AMD/ATI go broke.

haha, if a company with the ultra gay name of Diamond Flower International can lead the enthusiast motherboard market, I think Larrabee might just survive
