VapoLS doesn't get as cold only around -17 to -25C in bios/windows compared to -42C to -47C DICE
OK so there is a temp limit where cold bug kicks in

T_M is there a way to start of with a mix that will not get as cold.....i.e using something to heat up the base..........until you start benching the CPU....would that work

or having the container empty, let it power up, then start adding bits at a time...

can try that another time, if you are happy for me to keep CPU longer and risk killing it from heat?

the best i would be able to muster is dodging up my temp probe (rated to -20C) to the base of the tube, have to try to hold it touching and pass it out thru insulation.
all of which im not keen to do at this stage.

I think i could do something like about 50ml of acetone, and then only a small number of chunks of DICE to see what happens.
Hell, i could even do that tonight to measure how low it goes when not strapped onto a chip.
Being bothered though.....

the cpu wouldn't heat up that quickly even on an empty container!

it'd deifniltey be safe enough for you to boot up, go to bios, watch the temperatures say... hit 30-40 degrees, and then start adding small chunks of DICE and see it slowly decrease...
