scotty it doesnt.
vCore read point is a choke leg closest towards the socket, on backside of board.

Re: Blitz Formula / Extreme

Thanks for the VCORE voltage Read Point, much apprecaited! Any chance you happen to know where abouts I could measure VDIMM from? That is most important to me at the moment! Plus I have continued looking since posting on the last page and I still havn't found anything at all! Thanks again T_M for the help!

Re: Blitz Formula / Extreme

vDIMM you will be able to measure from the leg of a mosfet near the DIMM slots. Which one i dont know without checking myself, i've never bothered since vDIMM is usually pretty accurate on mobo's, and doesnt require such fine control for things i do.

Re: Blitz Formula / Extreme

Interesting, I had spent some time myself about a week ago testing various spots trying to find VDIMM read points. There are 5 mosfets above the RAM slots and I tested each leg of each mosfet. There are two mosfets which show VDIMM voltages very close to what the BIOS is set to although each mosfet shows a different value (I'm not sure which one is correct). Then again both mosfets read within 0.02v of what the BIOS says so I guess that is close enough (as I was only trying to figure out how close the actual voltage was compared to what the BIOS showed). So thanks T_M for giving me that information, now I'm pretty sure those points I found are the correct ones.

Given your experience with this motherboard are there any voltages that are way off (either higher or lower than what BIOS shows) or are they all pretty close? I appreciate all your help!

Any idea where on top side of board I can measure vcore and GTL REF volts on Blitz Formula ??

Re: Blitz Formula / Extreme

vCore: Poke your DMM into the leg of a coil (silver bit, not the insulated bronze bit), on the side closest to the socket.
