Looks like the Advance 300ps does nothing for your RAM. Just set it back to auto.

Don't listen to what the NFI fan boys say, the Asus is a better board. Mine will run 310FSB all day long and my x2 can go to 2.6GHz on stock volts. I'm running mine at 2.3 coz my RAM maxes out at 230 and I WILL NOT USE A MEM DIVIDER.

we really need to test the max of your RAM before we can OC that chip. Grab a copy of memtest from memtest86.org, drop the multi back to 10X and FSB to 260, run memtest, if that passes, go to 265.... and so on.

What is the meaning of "flogging a dead horse"?

(S. Nagamanikandan, Erode)

There is no point in beating a horse that is already dead. So when you say that someone is flogging a dead horse what you are implying is that the person is wasting his time or effort trying to do something that is impossible. It can also mean to talk about things that no one is interested in anymore. Here are a few examples.

* Raju is asking for more funding for his project. I think he's flogging a dead horse.

* Talking about honesty to a bunch of politicians! That's what I call flogging a dead horse.

* Listen Ganga, I am not interested in going to the U.S. So why do you flog a dead horse

* Hammer wants to overclock his FX-60 on his Asus board. We think he's floggin' a dead horse
