sounds like you have USB Legacy enabled.. you need to disable it for memtest - it's an Asus issue

I definately had Usb Legacy disabled all the time during testing.

Even on re testing the usb socket, Usb legacy was disabled

eva2000 could it be bad PCB on the board or maybe the bios I down loaded is corrupt?

Been memtest and bios all day.

I understand why people like DFI boards, it's the UV reactive connectors.
They look purrrrrrrdddddyyyyyy under a UV light

A day in a bios isnt that bad, i think i have spent nearlly 3 days in there with a DFI board LOL. Thats why you have more then 1 PC

Have you been writing down all the settings and which tweaks give you the most bandwidth etc etc ?????, if you have'nt your gunna have to do it ALLLLLL again

I have thousands of paper specs .

But I can't remember which is the best. maybe I should have numbered the pages

Going to have a bios free weekend i hope!
