I know, thats what I was saying, and that dudes chip is dead now anyway he killer it with condesation, and it needed 1.6v to do 3Ghz, grooveteks chip is clearly better.

condensation is formed from when under very "chilly" conditions

ok, what happens if you breath on a window and it is cold outside? if fogs or condenses up, now imagine really cold temps (-xx c), you wouldn't need to breath, the temperature of normal air will achieve the same effect.

or

what happens when you leave the ice cream tub on the bench, after a while it gets a layer of ice on the outside, viola, condensation.

hereth ends the lesson.

if i'm wrong i will impose a day long self ban. i need to go home.

condensation occurs when the temperature of anything (a surface, the air, etc) reaches "dew point" or lower.
That temperature is the point at which moisture in teh air will condense to forma liquid, usually coating said cold surface or falling to the ground (e.g. wet grass/frost after a cold night).
Dew point is commonly above 0C (~10C off the top of my head) and varies based on the humidity, temprature, pressure, etc.

With watercooling you have no need to worry, because you cannot cool anything lower than what the air temperature is anyway.
If the air temperature is below dew point, and the conditions are right, you will get condensation everywhere anyway, no matter if you are running water or air cooling.
